When a number looks off
A wrong result here is a bug, not a matter of taste. On HoroCalc the rule is that it maps the birth date against the Western zodiac date ranges, which shift by a day or two at the cusp on some years, and derives the Chinese animal from the lunar year cycle rather than the calendar year alone; if what you see contradicts that, either an input fell outside the model or a rounding case was missed. Give us the inputs and the expected value and we will reproduce it.
